Customized Website Or Template Website.that Is The Question!

The question is always asked in my blog…should I use a template for my website or should I get a customized website?

That use to be a complicated question. Before I could answer the question I had to ask what type of website are you going to create? Is it going to be a “store front” for a brick and mortar company or is just going to be a simple “squeeze page” to capture individual’s names and email addresses?

Sounds simple, but it goes deeper than just those 2 websites. There is a ton of coding that goes in to a customized website and that is probably the best for the concept for the “I want to sale things on my site” vs. “I am an affiliate for some XYZ company and I want to redirect them to my affiliate site and get their email so I can spam them to death with other offers”

If your just creating squeeze pages to capture names and emails than don’t waste your money on expensive customized sites.

For the brick and mortar type of website, you need to go ahead and spend the money for good hosting and custom website creation. Your site will look professional and it will make the sales you are wanting. Good hosting will run you around $25 a month.

Remember, you are paying just to have the site created for you. Now that you have a site created, you have to worry about hosting issues, payment processing issues and the list goes.

Without hosting, your site will not be live. You might be able to see the site that your designer created, but it will not be on the net. You have to pay for hosting so your site can be displayed and viewed on the web.

And you thought all you had to do was come up with a name and this web thing would be easy! Wrong! (not really, it is a simple yet complex program). The question now is who do I get to host my site. Remember that a good hosting package will run you around $25 a month.

Google, Yahoo, MSN, and all the other search engines hate duplicated content. And now as of 1st of January our original question becomes a no brainer. You have to have a customized website.

January 1st, Google and the others slapped website templates. Why? A template site is used hundreds of thousand of times and though the verbage is different on each one, the program is the same and they see that as duplicate material.

Why is all this important and what does it really mean? It means that your site if created with a template will never be optimized, meaning you will not be in the top 10 of any search engine. Your (template site) is a duplicated website in the eyes of the search engines.

So the only answer now is you have to have a customized website. Now the question is where can you find a customized website for a reasonable price? I have that answer for you as well. Not only do they do customized websites for you, they do it all! That’s right! They will build you a customized website and host the website for you and even pay for your domain. All you have to do is pay for the hosting, create your content, (only you know what you want on your site) and that is it.

Now you ask how much do they charge? Well I have paid in excess of $5,000 for some of my sites with this company and they do an excellent job. Now I am blown away at what Randall is offering to all new clients (that does not include me!) For a limited time Randall and his team is offering new hosting clients a FREE customized website!

You heard me right. What he was charging me in excess of $5,000 he is giving all new paid hosting clients a completely FREE customized website. I have begged him not to do this because I know he will be swamped with new customers and he won’t have time to listen to me complain about Google. (Maybe that is why he is doing this…you think!)

Now you have all the answers and a contact for the customized website. The question is now, what are you going to do now. You need to take action…that is what you do now!
