Many of these sites have established traffic, links and reputations. Building a new site with the old name can be a boon for new web publishers. It’s even feasible to just buy these names to turn around and sell them again.

Although it used to be difficult to track domains that were about to expire or those that just had, that’s no longer the case. There are tools out there that can help buyers find expired domains and track those that are soon to become available.

Devising a catchy domain name can be very important to business. It doesn’t matter whether you need a domain name for yourself or you just want to get into buying or selling, the expired route can be the way to go. It opens doors where they might have been closed before.
