Now I’m using Web 2.0 it’s changed the way I can market and get business without having to do all the boring work that came with it. This year I got into using new tactics to grow my business. My main social networks have been Myspace, Hi5, Friendster, YouTube and many others that allow you to add buddy’s and meet people that think the same as you.

These social networks have become a great way to get a huge number of targeted leads without having to spend a dime to introduce your products or services. In the past, the way to market a business in my field required me to schedule meetings, book venues for speaking engagements, print a bunch of literature to give out during the seminars and use my best efforts to get qualified clients from the group that attended the seminar. I’m so glad the internet has abolished most of the work that went into attracting new clients to my business.

Once your MySpace or YouTube profile starts getting friend request because of what people see on your profile you can now continue to send them information and messages to subtly promote yourself, business or band to thousands of highly targeted prospects. My online affiliate marketing ventures skyrocketed and I’m now starting to use it for my eBay store to promote products I have to those I know would be interested. Accomplishing what I have done would have taken me days to complete without using this. In the past I had to separate myself from everyone in my house because I was trying to get some work done online. Now I can play with my kids and just let my computer do the work for me!
