The first thing to bear in mind is that game bots are not making you break the law if you use them but can in some cases be against the terms of service of gaming sites like online casinos and online poker rooms.

There is no real reason why they should be against the TOS of online casinos as blackjack bots or even roulette bots simply do not yield any advantage by the player over the casino except for the fact that bots play the game on behalf of the player error free and keeping losses to an absolute minimum and enabling you to log off the online casino with a nice portion (free money) or more if luck is in your favor.

If you run blackjack bots they will play the perfect basic strategy of the the blackjack game the online casino that you play has in its software. The only input that is required from you is to set up the playing parameters of the blackjack game on offer. Like, for example, the number of decks it uses, the number of times you can split cards and whether you can double on any card or only face cards or aces.

The casino house rules of the blackjack game that you play will determine the amount of advantage you will have from the house and the game bot will compute play giving you the best advantage. Then you just press a button and it will play for you while you relax.

This could mean that if you are detected using them, you will have your account banned or suspended. Risky though it is, it is quite incredible the amount of people that use them anyway. Probably because so many use them that poker rooms turn a blind eye.

Poker bots range from holdem or omaha calculators which give you a run down of how well you are doing against other players in relation to your hand and what is on the table to out and out cheating bots with wild claims of being able to actually see your opponents hands. Bots making such debatable claims are, if true, nothing more than hacking scripts and if anyone is caught using them, then they would be liable to be prosecuted as hacking is definitely illegal. Whereas holdem, omaha, and all other poker bots work just like blackjack bots and point out to you the best way to play your hand in relation to the hand that you hold.

There are many variations of poker bots of which I also recommend below. You should be wary of set and forget because online poker is more dynamic and varied in its play than the more rigid game of blackjack or roulette. So make sure when you use a poker bot that plays for you that you keep monitoring play or you might have a bad surprise next time you log back into your online poker account.
