Writing Articles Are Fun Now

As an online marketer, I enjoy helping others who also want success online by writing articles about topics that can aid their own marketing efforts. But I had a problem, I was starting to have difficulty coming up with ideas let alone being able to write a whole article.

So, the well had gone dry and I was at odds with myself. As I was laboring with this weight on my shoulder and wondering what possible topic to write about next, I decided to say a prayer. Being a Christian I asked, “What can I do next?” Within moments I had an answer! An idea pops into my head - “Pick up your tape recorder and start talking.”

Now, that answer to prayer is just what I’m doing at this moment. I’m dictating into my tape recorder and later, when I’m finished, I will type out what I have been saying. I may use this same technique for every article I write in the future. I noticed that when I began talking, my ideas flow better than they would if I only have a blank sheet of paper in front of me. The fact that this feels conversational also makes it easier and faster.

It’s funny, I’m simply talking to you using my tape recorder. You’re getting the warts and all. Imagine, talking freely and being able to write an article with little or no effort. Once you are informed and knowledgeable about your target market, this becomes enjoyable. If you need to learn more about your market, reading other articles related to it is one simple method for doing so.

Then, when you have finished recording, rewind and listen to what you said and type it out to put it into your article submission service and there you have it. (Laughing) if you’re reading this now that’s exactly what happened, and you can do this too.

By the way, I talked for only 7 to 8 minutes to get over 400 words in length. Check with your article submission service - most ask for between 300-700 words. Simply count the words in one line and then multiply by the number of lines you have.

You will also need to do some editing. After you have typed it out, read it out loud to find out if it still flows as it did while you were talking. If something else sounds better as you re-read it, go ahead a make some minor changes.

That’s it. Enjoy your article writing. If you don’t have a small tape recorder yet, an inexpensive one will do. I like a hand held recorder so I can walk around and not be stuck in my chair. I think better when I’m moving around. That works for me. Find out what works for you and I wish you great success in your article writing.
