Ah, you have started this new hobby of picture taking and now you need to know how to take good pictures. Using a digital camera and digital images is the latest and greatest. Your just can not wait to start this new past time. Taking pictures of friends and family will wonderful.

One thing to take note of the button you press in order to take that snap shot is if you press it half way down the camera will auto focus on the the image it sees thur the lens.

One of the big differences with a digital camera is the fact you can view the photo you just took. If you should not like the photo you can go ahead and delete it. That is a very nice advantage if you ask me.

The last thing I am going to tell you in this article is to take the time to install the software that came with your new digital camera. Get yourself acquainted with the software you will learn a great deal about your camera. Most digital camera today are equipped with a USB cable in order to load the photos you have taken for easy downloading into your PC.
